What is Evalon Cream?

Evalon cream is similar to a female hormone called estrogen. It helps to treat symptoms linked with menopause.

Evalon cream contains Estriol, which belongs to a class of drugs known as hormone replacement therapy.

Estriol helps to treat vaginal burning, dryness, and itching, which is caused due to lack of estrogen.

Evalon cream supplements estrogen in your vaginal tissues, providing relief from vaginal symptoms such as dryness, irritation, and itching.

What are the uses of Evalon cream?

Doctors prescribe Evalon cream for:

Treatment of postmenopausal symptoms

Postmenopausal symptoms are ones that you start to experience after menopause. These symptoms can include vaginal dryness, itching, irritability, hot flashes, and mood swings.

How does Evalon cream work?

Evalon cream contains estrogen that works by delivering estrogen directly into your vagina. This further provides relief from vaginal symptoms of menopause, such as painful sexual intercourse, dryness, irritation, and burning.

How to use Evalon cream?

Always apply Evalon cream precisely in the same way as your doctor recommends. It is for intravaginal use only.

Gently squeeze the tube to fill the applicator with the needed quantity of medication.

Now unscrew the applicator from the tube and lie back with your knees drawn up and insert the applicator deep into your vagina, and press the plunger downward to its normal position to deliver the medicine.

After application, pull the plunger to remove it from the barrel and wash it with warm water and mild soap.

Even if there is no improvement in your condition, continue your treatment for the full prescribed time.
